GLOBAL Consumer Safety MANAGER (W/M) 

FOCUS: HEALTHCARE

 

What you can expect:

  • Working closely with colleagues, partners and customers on an international scale, you’ll ensure that both our current healthcare products and future developments are aligned with our medical policy and strategy and meet all global medical regulations and implications
  • Aiming to ensure compliancy with regulations and customer requirements as well, you’ll join in the global implementation of our healthcare policy and liaise with internal and external experts to develop the necessary strategies, key competencies and internal processes
  • As an expert in all regulatory matters you’ll monitor global trends, mitigate risks, provide advice, global coordination and information sharing, develop international initiatives and address regulatory constraints
  • Furthermore, you’ll coordinate and assess raw material approvals, manage change requests, update existing raw material documentations and maintain various healthcare related compliance documents
  • Your customers highly appreciate your assistance when it comes to issuing statements and maintaining medical disclaimer databases
  • Last but not least you’ll participate in relevant industry committees to address specific regulatory concerns

What we expect:

  • Degree in chemistry, engineering or another relevant discipline combined with at least five years’ experience in the field of polymer product regulatory and medical compliance
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare related regulations and compliance issues plus familiarity with food contact related issues
  • Basic understanding of our core business models such as “specialities versus standard products” and of INEOS Styrolution grade range, processes and product formulations
  • Experienced project manager with an excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and coordinate complex tasks to deliver as required
  • Convincing communicator with good diplomacy skills, team spirit and the ability to work successfully in an international environment
  • Fluent in verbal and written English, additional German language skills would be advantageous
  • Deep understanding of complex regulatory issues related to our complex grade range
  • Project Management skills
  • Ability to enjoy a multi-cultural working environment
