What you can expect:

  • It will be your responsibility to implement and maintain the risk assessment process within the company for insurance purposes in line with corporate insurance management and external consultants.
  • In this context, you will actively communicate and promote relevant insurance coverage within the company.
  • You will also have responsibility for managing all insurance claims.
  • On an international scale, you manage the separate insurance schemes for foreign entities.
  • Managing production site inspections with operations and insurance brokers is also part of your tasks.
  • By coordinating external financing activities, e.g. issuance of new debt instruments, refinancing of existing instruments, and project financing, you contribute significantly to the financial success of the company.
  • Your communication with rating agencies and ongoing support will back up our positive public image.
  • Last but not least, communicating with major suppliers to discuss creditworthiness in order to ensure credit lines of purchases of major raw materials rounds off your responsibilities.

What we expect:

  • Completed graduation in business administration, economics, finance or a related major
  • Relevant job experience in corporate finance and insurance related function
  • Accounting knowledge, mainly IFRS and German GAAP
  • Chemical industry knowledge (i.e. production, competitors, products, and value drivers)
  • Proficiency in verbal and written English is key, German language skills would be advantageous
  • Additional skills like CFA, CVA, etc. would be advantageous
